Safe Solutions for Medical Gases

Medical oxygen, nitrous oxide, breathing air, nitric oxide, carbon dioxide, and lung test gases are the most commonly used medical gases in Norway.

Strict requirements apply to the installation and assembly of medical gas systems. ISO Standard 7396 is the applicable standard in most European countries, while in the Nordic region, the SIS Handbook 370 – Safety Standard for Medical Gas Systems – is commonly followed. SPOT AS personnel are trained and certified according to ISO 7396.

SPOT AS installs central medical gas systems using either traditional copper piping with hard soldering certification (EN 13134) or approved 3.16 stainless steel tubing with orbital welding.
